Theni forest fire: Woman dies taking death toll to 19

According to reports, the death toll in the Kurangani hills forest fire in Theni has risen to 19 as another woman succumbed to burn injuries on Friday. Sai Vasumathi from Thanjavur died at a private hospital in Madurai. The 26-year-old was part of a group that embarked on a trekking journey in Kolukkumalai on March 11 when a forest fire engulfed the Kurangani hills.
