A student of class IX in Chennai was reportedly playing the Blue Whale Challenge game and reached level 20. When the school awareness program mentioned about the harm the game could cause, the boy tried to quit and uninstall the game. But the admin of the game threatened the boy that he and his family will be killed if he stops playing the game. According to media reports, the boy claimed that the admin had asked all details about him and had access to his every detail. The boy's parents were unaware of the situation, and the school counsellor has asked the parents not to let the boy use the cell phone.
