Vivek Jayaraman, the managing director of Jaya TV while meeting media persons said that the IT Department officials asked for permission to search Jayalalithaa's personal room which his family denied. He said a couple of USB Drives, laptops, and letters sent to the former CM were taken by the officials. On the question, if this is politically motivated, he said, “I don't know as I will have wait and decide”. He said the temple where Amma lived is facing troubles and nobody is standing up against it.
