After pledging their gold jewellery in a nationalised bank, a 30-year-old techie and his 27-year-old wife reportedly faked a robbery. The couple reportedly left to their relative’s home on Sunday after damaging their main door. The neighbours allegedly called the couple over the phone and informed about the tampered door. When the couple made a complaint, police and forensic experts did not find any fingerprint other than the couple’s. Upon investigation, the man reportedly confessed that the faked the whole incident. The police reportedly warned the couple and no action was taken.
