Government Tasmac workers association has reportedly announced that the Tasmac staff will stage dharna on November 3 in 20 places across Tamil Nadu emphasizing 20 demands. The demands reportedly include regularisation of jobs for employees and time-based salary. They also reportedly demanded that those who lose jobs due to closure of shops should be permanently reinstated in other government departments based on educational qualification and seniority.
