The hashtag Tamil Nadu Jobs For Tamils is trending on Twitter. People have been unhappy about central government jobs being offered to non-Tamils in large number in Tamil Nadu.

While some are concerned that Tamils are being denied jobs in their own land, some are concerned that there will be language barrier to avail services in the future.

A few months ago, out of the 7000 candidates interviewed for Indian Railways jobs in Tamil Nadu, only 400 were Tamils. It caused a debate among people and it became a concern.

Today, in Trichy, there is a protest going on stating that Tamils are being denied jobs. In this situation, people are trending the hashtag and have taken the protest to social media.
