'MAY 16' CORONA UPDATE: DEATHS CLIMB TO 74, AND 477 FRESH CASES ADDED. MORE DETAILS FOR COVID-19 IN TN!

Tamil Nadu on Saturday, 16 May, reported 477 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state 10,585.

Of the 434 new cases, 332 are from Chennai. Also, four passengers returned from Dhaka, 81 from Maharashtra, 7 from Gujarat and 1 from Andhra Pradesh have tested positive for the virus in Tamil Nadu.

Three persons succumbed to the virus on the date taking the death toll of the state to 74.
