COVID-19 IN TN TODAY: POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON JUNE 10

Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, June 10, reported 1,927 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 36,841.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 10:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  17,179* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date – 22,828 / 13,996 / 17 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –  77 (44 Govt+33 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date – 6,38,846 

- Total number of samples tested today –  17,675 

- Total number of persons tested till date –  36,841 

- Total number of persons tested today –  1,927 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 19,333 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  1,008 

- Total number of deaths today/ till date -   19 (7 Private12 Govt) / 326
