COVID-19 IN TAMIL NADU TODAY: CHECK POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON SEPT 4   

Tamil Nadu on Friday, September 4, reported 5,976 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 4,51,827. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of September 4: 

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  51,633.  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –   2,72,739 / 1,79,059 / 29.  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –155 (64 Govt + 91 Private). 

- Total Number of samples tested by RT-PCR till date  –   51,30,741.  

- Total number of samples tested today – 83,699.     

- Total number of persons tested by RT-PCR till date –     49,62,357. 

- Total number of persons tested today –   81,588.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 3,92,507.  

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –   6,334.  

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 79 (28 Private & 51 Govt) / total 7,687.
