HIGHEST EVER POSITIVE CASES REPORTED IN TN, TODAY - DEATHS, RECOVERIES AND OTHER DETAILS AS ON JUNE 26

Tamil Nadu on Friday, June 26, reported 3,645 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 74,622. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 26:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -    32,305*  

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  46,046 / 28,556 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –89 (47 Govt + 42 Private)

- Total number of samples tested till date –     10,42,649        

- Total number of samples tested today –    33,675  

 - Total number of persons tested till date –   74,622   

- Total number of persons tested today –   3,645 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  41,357 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –  1,358 

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  46 (15 Private and 31 Govt) / total 957
