'POSITIVE CASES CROSSES 3,500 IN TN, TODAY' - DEATH, RECOVERIES AND OTHER COVID-19 DETAILS AS ON JUNE 25

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, June 25, reported 3,509 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 70,977. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 25:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   30,064* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  43,835 / 27,122 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –88 (47 Govt +41 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –    10,08,974         

- Total number of samples tested today –    32,543   

- Total number of persons tested till date –   70,977 

- Total number of persons tested today –   3,509 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  39,999 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 2,236   

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  45 (16 Private and 29 Govt) / total 911
