'HIGHEST EVER POSITIVE CASES RECORDED IN TN TODAY' - DEATH, RECOVERIES & OTHER COVID-19 DETAILS AS ON JUNE 24

Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, June 24, reported 2,865 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 67,468. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 24:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   28,836*     

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  41,678 / 25,770 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –88 (47 Govt + 41 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –   9,76,431         

- Total number of samples tested today –    32,079   

- Total number of persons tested till date –   67,468 

- Total number of persons tested today –   2,865 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  37,763 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 2,424 

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  33 (8 Private and 25 Govt) / total 866
