'MORE THAN 2,000 POSITIVE CASES REPORTED IN TN' - DEATH, RECOVERIES AND OTHER COVID-19 DETAILS AS ON JUNE 23

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, June 23, reported 2,516 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 64,603.   

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 23:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   28,428*   

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  39,897 / 24,686 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –87 (46 Govt +41 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –     9,00,712        

- Total number of samples tested today –    25,148    

- Total number of persons tested till date –    64,603 

- Total number of persons tested today –  2,516   

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  35,339 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 1,227 

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  39 (11 Private and 28 Govt) / total 833
