'MORE THAN 2,700 POSITIVE CASES REPORTED IN TN' - DEATH, RECOVERIES AND OTHER COVID-19 DETAILS AS ON JUNE 22

Tamil Nadu on Monday, June 22, reported 2,710 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 62,087.   

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 22:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -  27,178*   

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  38,340 / 23,727 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 87 (46 Govt + 41 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –   9,19,204      

- Total number of samples tested today –    26,592   

- Total number of persons tested till date –   62,087 

- Total number of persons tested today –  2,710 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  34,112 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 1,358 

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  37 (7 Private and 30 Govt) / total 794
