'OVER 2,000 POSITIVE CASES REPORTED IN TN, TODAY' - DEATH, RECOVERIES AND OTHER COVID-19 DETAILS AS ON JUNE 18

Tamil Nadu on Thursday, June 18, reported 2,141 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 52,334.  

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of June 18:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   23,065* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –  32,241 / 20,073 / 20 

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 81 (45 Govt + 36 Private) 

- Total number of samples tested till date –    8,00,443 

- Total number of samples tested today –    26,736   

- Total number of persons tested till date –   52,334   

- Total number of persons tested today –  2,141 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date–  28,641 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today –   1,017 

- Total number of deaths today / till date -  49 (13 Private and 36 Govt) /  Total 625
