COVID-19 IN TAMIL NADU TODAY: POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON JULY 20

Tamil Nadu on Monday, July 20, reported 4,985 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,75,678. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 20:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   51,348* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –    1,06,828 / 68,827 / 23  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –112 (57 Govt + 55 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –   19,84,579 

- Total number of samples tested today –  52,087    

- Total number of persons tested till date – 19,06,617 

- Total number of persons tested today – 50,800 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 1,21,776 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 3,861 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 70 (21 Private and 49 Govt) / total 2,551
