COVID-19 IN TAMIL NADU TODAY: POSITIVE CASES, DEATHS AND RECOVERIES AS ON JULY 14 

Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, July 14, reported 4,526 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,47,324. 

The following is the COVID-19 statistics of Tamil Nadu as of July 14:

- Total number of active cases on date (including isolation) -   47,912* 

- Total number of Male/Female/Transgender tested positive till date –    89,834 / 57,467 / 23  

- Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities –106 (53 Govt + 53 Private)  

- Total number of samples tested till date –    16,95,365 

- Total number of samples tested today –  41,357    

- Total number of persons tested till date – 16,25,558 

- Total number of persons tested today – 39,776 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 97,310 

- Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 4,743 

- Total number of deaths today / till date - 67 (17 Private and 50 Govt) / total 2,099
