TN MINISTER: CLASS 10 & 12 PUBLIC EXAM RESULTS OUT SOON - DATE AND DETAILS!

As students wait for their board exam results, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan confirmed that the results of class 10 and 12 board exams would be declared in July. 

“Mostly the class 10 and 12 exam results will be out in July and it is impossible to disclose the exact date of publication of the results,” he told reporters earlier today. 

Further giving his insight over the matter, Minister Sengottaiyan said teachers are already engaged in evaluation of answer sheets of class 12 exams. 

Also, as per the revised schedule announced by the government, the tenth standard board exams will be held from June 15 to June 25 for more than 9.5 lakh candidates in the state. The exams had to be postponed due to rise in COVID-19 cases across Tamil Nadu. 

Earlier, tenth standard board exams were scheduled from June 1 to June 12.

Keeping in mind the rise in COVID-19 cases and death in the state, the Minister said the reopening date of schools could not be disclosed now and the government would take a decision made by a committee formed to look into the matter.
