The school education department officials have reportedly suspended the transfer of Bhagawan, a 28-year-old English teacher at government high school in Velliagaram, Tiruvallur, after students protested against it. The school’s principal had written to the education department asking about the possibility to retain the teacher following the protest.
In the videos on social media, students are seen hugging the teacher not allowing to leave the school gates. All in tears, they requested to cancel the order of his transfer. The English teacher was associated with the school for four years.
The students showed great admiration and love for Bhagawan, who grew bond with them like a brother. He helped them develop their skills and was ready to clarify their questions anytime.
