According to reports, a 57-year-old man named Purushothaman of Vellalore was arrested for marrying eight women and cheating them of money to the tune of Rs 4.5 crore. Purushothaman was exposed after a 45-year-old college lecturer from Chennai approached police that her husband vanished after receiving Rs 1.5 crore from selling her house. According to reports, the man has tied up with a matrimonial agency in Coimbatore to pick his victims.
