According to reports, a man named Vinoth Chakravarthy died after being hit by a beer bottle on head after a tussle broke out at NGO Colony of Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district. An argument broke out between Vinoth and another man named Murugavel when they were drinking alcohol, following which the latter smashed a beer bottle on the former’s head. While Murugavel has been detained, police are looking for some other men in connection with the murder.
