Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday announced solatium of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those who died in the forest fire at Kurangani hills in Theni. The people who suffered serious burn injuries in the fire will receive Rs 1 lakh, while those with mild injuries will get Rs 50,000 as compensation, the Chief Minister reportedly announced.
