Tamil Nadu Governor apologizes over cheek-patting incident.

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Wednesday expressed his regret for patting the cheek of a senior lady journalist and tendered an apology. The Governor, in his letter of apology, reportedly explained that he patted on the journalist’s cheek considering her like his granddaughter. The matter stirred a controversy after the journalist took to Twitter to slam the Governor over the incident.
