TN RELEASES LIST OF PUBLIC HOLIDAYS IN 2019

Another year is all set to pass. 2019 is just around the corner and the Tamil Nadu government has released the list of public holidays for the new year.
A total of 23 public holidays will be seen in 2019 out of which four will fall on the weekend (Republic Day, Telugu New Year's Day, Tamil New Year's Day and Diwali). Here is the list of public holidays for 2019:

Telugu New Year’s Day - April 6 (Saturday)
Tamil New Year’s Day and Dr B R Ambedkar’s birthday - April 14 (Sunday)
Mahaveer Jayanthi - April 17 (Wednesday)
Good Friday - April 19 (Friday)
May Day - May 1 (Wednesday)
Ramzan - June 5 (Wednesday)
