A wild elephant, separated from its herd, has killed two men in just two days near Shoolagiri in Krishnagiri district. The elephant, on Saturday, attacked a man named Rajappa and stamped on him. While Rajappa from Pathakota died on the spot, the elephant also attacked two other men named Ranganathan and Munikrishnan from the same area. Meanwhile, the wild animal again returned to Chinnar area on Sunday morning and trampled a farmer named Muniraj to death. People are shocked by the incident and have called for the elephant to be sent into the forest.
