A cop working with the Pallikaranai police station has reportedly posted a video on Facebook alleging that his superior officers didn’t allow him to go on leave even when he desperately needed it. The policeman, Bharathi, in his video, further alleged that his request for leave to take his son for treatment in Madurai was turned down by the station inspector. He also alleged that he didn’t get a leave even after approaching the offices of Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner. He allegedly took 10 days’ leave without their permission. However, when he returned, he wasn’t reinstated in his job, Bharathi added.
