According to reports, cops in Trichy have slapped a fine of Rs 100 on a man named Sahaya Jayaraj on Saturday. The man had reportedly worn the seat belt and showed the documents of the vehicle to the police. However, after verifying the documents, the cops asked the man to pay a fine of Rs 100 for ‘not wearing helmet' reports say. Reportedly, the incident took place near Kallanai area of Trichy. Earlier, in Coimbatore, a man named Karunakaran was fined for driving a Tata Ace vehicle without a helmet.
