TRICHY COLLEGE STUDENT STABS HOSTEL WARDEN TO DEATH, GETS ARRESTED

In a shocking case, a college student has been arrested after he stabbed a hostel warden to death at Imayam Institute of Engineering and Technology in Thuraiyur in Trichy district of Tamil Nadu.
The student has been identified as A Abdul Rahim, who is a B.Sc agriculture student. The warden has been identified as G Venkatraman.
According to Times of India (ToI) report, the student and warden had an argument after Venkatraman who complained to Abdul parents about him being absent for four days from the hostel.
After police investigation, they revealed that Abdul had gone to a relatives house without informing the warden who later called and complained to his parents.
After being scolded by his father, he was sad and depressed. The time when his father was scolding him, he took his own slippers and hit himself regretting for sending him to college which totally angered Abdul, ToI further reported.
When Abdul went back to college, he had an argument with the warden. Suddenly, he took out a sharp object and stabbed the warden in his stomach and slit his throat. When students and other staff rushed the warden to the hospital, he died on the way.
