A woman named Janaki from Illuppur in Trichy district, who was in a brain-dead condition at a hospital in Trichy, has helped seven lives by donating her organs. Janaki met with an accident on March 6 and was admitted to hospital where she was declared brain-dead. When doctors explained, Janaki’s husband Gurunathan agreed to donate her organs. Seven persons have been helped by the donation of her organs.
