According to reports, the temperature in Tamil Nadu is set to rise by more than 5 degrees than usual between March and May. Notably, last year, temperature was recorded at over 110 degrees in places including Thiruttani, Vellore and Arakkonam, whereas, the temperature in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Salem, Nellai and Thootukudi were recorded at an average of 100 degrees.
