TAMIL NADU: 63-YEAR-OLD WOMAN BECOMES MOTHER TO GIRL CHILD

According to reports, a 63-year-old woman from Gobichettipalayam in Erode district has become a mother to a girl child with the help of artificial fertility treatment. Senthamil Selvi gave birth to a 3.5 kg girl child after she approached a private fertility centre with branches in Palani, Madurai and Chennai.

The couple - Krishnan and Senthamil Selvi - have been married for 42 years. However, they were unhappy over not having a child. The fertility centre lent them a helping hand. 71-year-old Krishnan and Senthamil Selvi are elated to have had a baby for of their own.
