536 FRESH CASES AND 3 DEATHS IN TAMIL NADU TODAY; ADDITIONAL COVID-19 DETAILS LISTED

Tamil Nadu on Monday, 18 May, reported 536 new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of cases in the state 11,760.

Of the 536 fresh cases, 46 are passengers returned from Maharashtra.

Three persons succumbed to the virus on the date taking the death toll of the state to 81.

Total number of functioning COVID-19 testing facilities – 61 (39 government and 22 private)

Total number of samples tested till date – 3,37,841

Total number of samples tested today – 11,121

Total number of persons tested till date – 3,22,508

Total number of persons tested today – 10,887

Total number of suspected individuals in isolation ward admission – 4508

Total number of patients discharged following treatment till date– 4406

Total number of patients discharged following treatment today – 234
