At least four people died on Thursday in Tamil Nadu in rain-related incidents after heavy showers battered the state following the formation of Cyclone Ockhi, said an NDTV report. A deep depression in the Bay of Bengal intensified into Cyclone Ockhi on Thursday morning and is now headed to Lakshadweep. While heavy rains lashed the southern districts, many trees and electric poles were uprooted, reports added.
