TAMIL NADU: +1 RESULTS OUT, 91.3% STUDENTS PASS EXAMS

The results of class 11 state board exams are out on Wednesday and 91.3% students have passed the examinations in the state. While 87.4% boys passed  the exam, 94.6% girls cleared the exams. The top five districts in pass percentage are Erode (97.3%), Tirupur (96.4%), Coimbatore (96.2%), Virudhunagar (95.7%) and Karur (95.7%).

Out of 2724 government schools, 188 schools have registered 100% pass percentage. About 83.9% of government school students have passed the examinations. About 2054 schools in total have hit 100% pass percentage. Villupuram takes the bottom place with a pass percentage of 83.9%. Girls have passed 7.2% more than boys.

About 93% of students have passed in Physics, 92.7% in Chemistry, 96.7% in Biology, 92.5% in Mathematics, 89.3% in Botany and Zoology in 91.8%.
