According to reports, the Supreme Court on Friday reportedly restrained the public, students and political parties from holding protests against the NEET medical test in Tamil Nadu. The apex court passed the order on a Public Interest Litigation filed by advocate GS Mani who demanded a judicial probe into the death of medical aspirant Anitha. The court also reportedly banned students from protests such as boycotting classes and staging roadblocks. The top court also reportedly ordered the Tamil Nadu government to take action to protect the law and order in the state.
