The Prison Department has reportedly suspended two warders following the escape of a remand prisoner from Vellore Central Prison. Notably, the prisoner scaled the compound wall of the prison and escaped, on Thursday. Reports say, a detailed inquiry has commenced into the prisoner’s escape.
