Reacting to the RK Nagar bypoll result, DMK leader MK Stalin said that, “RK Nagar loss is not a defeat for DMK but is a Himalayan defeat for the Indian Election Commission.” Notably, DMK candidate Marudhu Ganesh lost his deposit as he secured only 24,075 votes in the RK Nagar bypoll election.
