Chennai is all set to celebrate Vinayagar Chadurthi on Friday with exclusive eco friendly, flimy vinayagar statues this year, according to media reports.In an attempt to keep sea animals away from pollution, most of the statues in Chennai have been made with paper mesh. While there are few statues that were made with ‘Paancha dhaaniyam’, the main aim of this initiative is only to keep the festival friendly to environment.
