Special trains to run between these TN cities

The Southern Railways has announced that special trains will run between Chengalpet and Madurai in the last week of December and the first two weeks of January in order to accommodate the increased number of passengers during the festival season of New Year, Thai Pusam and Pongal. According to a statement from the Southern Railway, the special fare special trains between Madurai and Chengalpet will be operated via Thanjavur and Cuddalore.
