The Election Commission has reportedly appointed Vikram Batra as the special Electoral Officer for the RK Nagar bypoll. While Rajesh Lakhoni is the Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu, Vikram Batra will monitor the bypoll for RK Nagar constituency, say reports. Notably, the Returning Officer of the RK Nagar bypoll was changed after allegations of irregularities in nominations.
