The 18 MLAs who were supporting TTV Dhinakaran were reportedly disqualified by the assembly speaker Dhanapal. After the MLAs withdrew their support to the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, the High Court gave a deadline for taking any action against them. With the current situation, the Chief Minister will have majority and cannot be disqualified even if a floor test is conducted.
