SNAKE BITES COP DURING IPL MATCH

During the CSK match on Sunday at Chepauk, a cop was bitten by a snake while on duty. Babushah, a 22-year-old cop from Trichy, was on bandobast duty. He is part of the Tamil Nadu special police battalion.

Around 11.45 pm, he was bitten by a snake at the lawn outside the main stadium. Babushah and his colleagues managed to kill the snake and he was rushed to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.

The cops took the dead snake along to check whether it was venomous. Babushah was admitted at in-patient ward. According to the Times of India (TOI), his colleagues informed that he is now recovering well.
