According to media reports, the Madras High Court on Monday directed the registry to take up a writ petition by slain techie Swathi's father seeking Rs 3 crore as compensation from Southern Railway. The 24-year-old techie was murdered at Nungambakkam Railway Station on June 24 last year and succumbed to her injuries on the spot. Later her attacker, Ramkumar committed suicide while in prison.
