According to reports, two sisters got electrocuted when they accidentally stepped on an electric wire in Kodungaiyur at Chennai. Reportedly, the sisters were playing outside their house when they accidentally stepped on the electric wire, which snapped due to heavy rain. Reportedly, people around the area alleged that the negligence of the electricity board caused the death of the children as the authorities failed to fix the wire even though they were informed about the snapped wire several times.
