A man accused of robbery reportedly stabbed a sub-inspector and later attempted suicide at Aminjikarai in Chennai, on Sunday night. Reports say, the accused while trying to flee the police during vehicle inspections, stabbed the sub-inspector. However, when the accused was surrounded by police, he reportedly attempted to kill himself. Reports say, the accused has been arrested while the police officer has been admitted to a hospital.
