While a lot of initiatives have been implemented by the state government for the quality improvement of education, it has emerged that as much as 950 posts of headmasters for high school, five CEO posts, and 35 DEO posts have been remaining vacant for about six months. This was discussed in a meeting held by TN government high and higher secondary school headmaster association which was held in Velankani. Reportedly, the association has decided to urge the TN government to fill the vacancies.
