COLONY IN TN GETS ELECTRICITY AFTER 26 YEARS

According to reports from News 7, Sheshapuram, a colony in Virudhunagar had been without electricity for the past 26 years. Reportedly, despite filing petitions many times, officials did not take any effort to help them. 

Reportedly, it was only after News 7 published a story on the turmoil faced by the residents of the colony, that action was taken. The Sheshapuram colony was reportedly investigated by officials to register a patta. Steps are also being taken by the officials to establish electricity there.
