THESE TWO CHENNAI METRO STATIONS TO BE ALL-WOMEN STATIONS

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has converted Shenoy Nagar and Koyambedu metro stations into all-woman metro stations, in a bid to empower the fairer sex. 

Working two-shifts, a team of 15 women will handle ticketing, customer care and housekeeping at the Shenoy Nagar metro station. 

This seems to be the latest in the series of measures being taken by railway authorities to ensure safety of women while travelling in trains.
