Anitha’s brother said that everyone in the family were kept occupied, and she used that situation to commit suicide. He said that his younger brother was in hospital as he was unwell, he and his father were in the backyard and his grandmother went out to work. He said, “She got Keerai from our neighbour to cook for me, as it is my favourite food, before committing suicide”.
