While meeting reporters, Naam Tamilar party chief Seeman expressed his disappointment as actors who gained fame with Vairamuthu’s lyrics did not stand up for the lyricist. He quoted few songs that were written by Vairamuthu for Rajinikanth movies and said, “Uppita Tamil mannai naan marakka maten - idhellam vairamuthu pota picha”.
